Certificate III and IV in Fitness, Matwork Pilates Instructor, Reformer Pilates Instructor, Bachelor of Business (Human Resource Management & Public Relations), currently undertaking studies of a Bachelor of Exercise and Nutrition Science at UQ!

What Motivates You:
Success! The feeling of being successful and feeling accomplished motivates me to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Whether this be a workout, a task, assignment, or Degree, there is something to be said for the feeling of accomplishment. I’ve always been a highly motivated person, constantly striving for the next challenge or working towards educating myself further, so I guess that I’m lucky enough to not have to seek a lot of motivation outside of myself.

Favourite Style of Training: 
Functional training is definitely my favourite! I love combining plyometrics and weights into a session. I equally love the challenge Pilates offers with a focus on core strength and stability, while targeting the smaller (often forgotten) muscles within the body

What would you say to anyone wanting to start PT?
Investing in your health is the most important thing you can do for yourself – we can easily spend money on going out to dinner or a new outfit, but are reluctant to spend money on gaining knowledge and experience in exercise and our health. Starting PT will not only keep you accountable, it will also offer you long-term guidance and motivation, as well as variety, creativity, insight into the most effective way to train for your goals.

Health & Wellbeing Goal:
My number one goal is to continue to maintain good health and be thankful that I have a working and able body. To learn to rest and practice more Yoga to stretch worked muscles, slow down my mind and breath. To spend more time outdoors (especially with my puppies) and less time on my phone!
