“I first joined this amazing gym almost 15 years ago. In recent years it has been rebranded as Active Life Fitness after being taken over by new owners. The new management are approachable and always open to suggestions & genuinely interested in member’s opinions. It is now better than ever!! The gym floor has had a face lift and a gorgeous Yoga & Pilates studio has been installed.
When I originally joined, I just wanted to get moving and found a love of Body Balance classes. Even to this day, Body Balance is still my favourite class and the one that I never miss. My aim has been to become the fittest, strongest, happiest version of myself. I feel like the large range of classes available, with passionate and enthusiastic instructors who keep routines varied and up to date, coupled with a vast range of equipment, has allowed me to do that.
In addition, I am having weekly Personal Training sessions with Todd. I never thought PT would be my thing, but Todd’s calm & friendly nature makes me feel so comfortable. I love that he pushes me further than I would ever go on my own. He listens and understands what I need out of each session and constantly encourages and challenges me with new exercises.
The friendly Staff at Active Life Fitness are welcoming, helpful and always greet me with a smile, creating a warm and supportive environment. It may sound cliché, but Active Life Fitness really is my happy place 🙂 ”
