Small Group Training offers the chance to try the latest fitness trends and follow a program designed by a qualified PT, with up to 12 other like-minded gym buddies in the room to motivate you. We introduced Small Group Training to the club as a cost-effective and budget-friendly way for members to take their training to the next level.
For those new to Small Group Training or looking to branch out into this style of training, the core concept is functional based exercise. Functional training includes core lifts, plyometrics, strength, and cardiovascular fitness, as well as challenging balance, agility, range of motion, and mental toughness. The main goal of functional training is to improve the ability to perform everyday activities.
With that being said, this style of training is adopted by all ages and levels, and is easily adapted for individual’s goals, needs, and injuries. Small Group Training incorporates the use of dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, resistance bands, barbells, sandbags, TRX, benches, tyres, and sleds.
We offer an initial complimentary session for those new to Small Group as a little taster to what it’s all about. From there, we offer package or membership options, depending on how often you’d like to attend classes.
